2025 End-of-Season Hitting Tier List
The numbers are finalized and the bats have been ranked accordingly
Camden Allison
The year is finally coming to a close, with the only thing left to do now being to see who can come away with the 2025 Championship. The 2025 season seems to be the year of hitting, as 8 players are hitting above .500. This hitting outburst could have been caused by the new field or the addition of the no-bobble rule. Whatever it may be, this is what medium pitch wiffleball is all about: getting hits and scoring runs.
Before we get into the list, the most important thing to note is that the list only has to do with stats from the 2025 season so far. Taking that into consideration, you MUST be a qualified player for each stat to be eligible for the list. Qualification has changed since the last list, as you only need 2 plate appearances per game now, which makes it easier to qualify.
For hitting, I found that the most important stat was OPS, which is On-Base Percentage + Slugging Percentage. With this being said, for the final time of 2025, let's rank…
Tier 1
Silver Slugger: Gage West
Gage West has put on an absolute clinic this entire year, and it is only fitting that he ended where he started... at the top. West has absolute video game numbers this year, posting a 2.356 OPS, which is good for an absurd 305 OPS+. I think Gage West will easily run away with this year's Silver Slugger award.
Runner-Up: Cooper Ruckel
I believe the best way to describe Ruckel's year is by comparing him to Cal Raleigh. The reason he is getting the comparison is that Cooper has been hitting amazing this year, but is just slightly short of winning a Silver Slugger. In a lot of other years, we would look at his numbers and consider him a clear Silver Slugger winner. Ruckel has been terrifying to opposing pitchers this year and has been getting on base at an outstanding rate. Cooper Ruckel has a 1.855 OPS and a 222 OPS+, making him my runner-up for Silver Slugger.
Tier 2
Jesse Palmore
Palmore had yet another great hitting performance this year and continues to show why he’s one of the most feared players in the league. Palmore’s 203 OPS+ and 60 hits are both 3rd best in the league.
Ian O’Hare
O’Hare has been the equivalent of this league's Shohei Ohtani. O’Hare has been an absolute unicorn this year, as he has made huge strides in his offensive value. By no means was O’Hare ever a bad hitter, but he more than tripled his home run total from last year. O’Hare is 4th in OPS with a 1.668 OPS and has an OPS+ of 190.
Ben Lee
Lee has been one of, if not the most, improved players in the 2025 season. Lee went from having a 1.054 OPS to a 1.643, which is good for 5th in the league. Crazy to think about, as Lee has the 3rd-best OPS on his team. With Lee finding his swing again, this team will be deadly come playoffs.
Jackson Richardson
The Crooked Rooks were one of the best offenses in the league, and a huge reason was due to their leadoff hitter having another great year. Richardson put up a 1.583 OPS and a 179 OPS+ in 2025.
Tier 3
Rayce Radtke
Radtke was just below his teammate Richardson in a lot of hitting categories this year. Radtke took a huge step forward in offensive production, as he had over a .300 jump in OPS, which put him at 1.579 on the year. The duo looks to continue this trend as we head into playoffs.
Trysten Meadors
Safe to say that the offensive prowess Meadors showed in his MVP season was not a fluke by any means. He has once again been excellent at the plate and has been a perfect leadoff hitter for the Cosby Show. Meadors put up the 8th-best OPS+, finishing with a 173.
Will Raines
The Moonshot sponsorship has seemed to work out quite well for Raines this year. He has been the Blue Ballers' biggest offensive presence this year and has been a big reason for their success. Raines has an OPS of 1.388 and an OPS+ of 147.
Kade Turnage
Turnage had a very impressive 2025 season. Turnage ranks 10th in OPS at 1.411 and has posted an OPS+ of 145. He has been an amazing bat in the Vibes lineup and has created a ton of runs for their offense.
Tier 4
Paul Marshall
This is a formal announcement that the Paul Marshall slander has to stop immediately. After a slow start to the 2025 season, Marshall has been on a steep upward slope and ended up a top-10 hitter in all of the Texas Wiffleball League. I’m not going to say he’s completely back, mainly due to the fact that prime Paul Marshall quite literally had one of the best hitting performances we have seen in league history, but I will say he is trending in the right direction. Marshall finished with a 1.212 OPS, which would put him 9th in the league.
Camden Allison
Allison has been a key piece this year for the Ball Busters' offense. Allison has hit the most home runs in his career, finally breaking into double digits with 10. Allison posted a 139 OPS+ and a 1.349 OPS.
Jack Hoving
Hoving had a very solid offensive season for the Blue Ballers and seems to have gotten back on track after a down 2024 season. Hoving ranks top 15 in OPS with a 1.316 and posted a 130 OPS+. From what it looks like, Hoving will be around for the playoffs, which is huge for the Blue Ballers' championship hopes.
Taylor Raglin
Raglin has seemed to be the bright spot in the Who’s Your Daddy lineup. As it has been for many others on this list, 2025 was a career year for Raglin, as he had a career high in OPS+ at 132 and an OPS — his second-best — at 1.306.
Tier 5
Skylar Burt
Burt had another impressive year when it comes to hitting. He led the league in hits and posted a 1.277 OPS (129 OPS+), which was good for 15th in the league.
Cade Zastoupil
Zastoupil was another huge contributor to the Cosby Show's success this year. Zastoupil was 16th in OPS with a 125 OPS+. This Cosby team has hit the ball extremely well, and Zastoupil was a huge reason for it.
Logan Swink
Swink is the 4th member of the Cosby Show’s offense that made the top 18 hitters. For many reasons, that is insanely impressive work by the boys in pink. Swink had a 1.254 OPS and a 117 OPS+.
Connor Retterath
To round out our list today, we have Connor Retterath of the Flying Turtles. Retterath is yet another Turtle we have seen on today's list and has been impressive all year. Retterath has posted a 101 OPS+ and a 1.143 OPS on the year.
